Interstate 10 runs in an east/west direction approximately 30 miles north of Fort Walton Beach,
Okaloosa Island and Destin. Take State Highway 85 or State Highway 285 south from Interstate 10, at
exit numbers 56 or 70 respectively. U.S. Highway 98 runs in an east/west direction right through the
beach areas, with views of the coast along the way.
