Stand Up and Paddle (SUP) Jam at Fish Lipz
End Date: September 10; Duration: 169 Days
The SUP JAM is a stand up paddle board event series open to the public. Through September, paddlers will race for prizes and bragging rights. Demonstration boards will be on hand for those who want to learn more about the sport. Dates: March 26, April 16, May 14, June 18, July 16, August 13, August 28 and September 10.

Pirate Exhibit
End Date: September 4; Duration: 99 Days
The Fort Walton Beach Heritage Park and Cultural Center, along with the Friends of the Museums, presents an original exhibit titled "Pirates: The Last Scourge of the Gulf" opening May 29, 10am - 4:30pm. The exhibit is scheduled to be on display all summer inside the Indian Temple Mound Museum Lazarus Education Center. The exhibit examines the real pirates who swept across the Gulf of Mexico in the early 19th Century and wreaked havoc on American shipping along the Gulf Coast from Texas to Florida. Coast is $5 plus tax for adults; $4.50 plus tax for seniors 55 and older and military personnel; and $3 plus tax for children 3 - 17.

Patriotic Impressions at the Heritage Museum

The Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida is pleased to announce "Patriotic Impressions", a new exhibit by Local Color Artists Group on view through August 28, Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 4pm. This patriotic salute features original works of art in a variety of media created by ten local artists including collage, porcelain, acrylic, watercolor, oils and wood. The exhibit is one of a series of presentations by the Heritage Museum honoring Eglin Air Force Base's 75th Anniversary and local military heritage. All work is available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Museum. Admission is $2. Free for HMNF members and children under 4.
